GENIE'S BREAKFAST
In late 2019, the industry lost a shining star, Eugenia “Genie” Loukian. Eugenia was someone who believed in supporting and connecting with people from all areas of our business and was a champion for her peers and colleagues within the industry. As many of us worked with her professionally, she was also an active member and supporter of CTAM Canada; and we want to ensure her legacy will live on with those of us who knew her, and even those who didn’t.

To honour Eugenia, this event will support a cause close to her, Look Good Feel Better. One of the most challenging aspects of a cancer diagnosis is the loss of identity that comes with it. For a woman, she is no longer the sister, daughter, friend - she is the cancer patient. It can rob her of her sense of self. Look Good Feel Better helps women and teen girls facing the difficult cancer journey feel more like themselves again. At the heart of the Look Good Feel Better program is a complimentary two-hour workshop which addresses the appearance-related impact of cancer and its treatment. Much more than that - Look Good Feel Better offers women a welcoming sense of community, where they can spend much-needed time on themselves and connect with other women facing similar challenges.
