Finding Calm Through Mindfulness Meditation
A cancer diagnosis can take a toll on the mental health of patients, families, and caregivers. Guided imagery — a form of visualization meditation — has been shown to reduce stress and anxiety, helping people feel calmer, more in control, and better able to cope with fears about the future and recurrence.
