Legacy Giving

Make A Lasting Impact

Support women and teens with cancer by leaving a gift in your will for Look Good Feel Better.

lynda framed (1).png After almost 30 years of support, Lynda Rose, Chair, LGFB Board of Directors, made the natural next step and chose to make her legacy gift to LGFB.

"My mom and dad were foster parents to more than fifteen kids, so very early on, I learned the impact of giving back.  I saw firsthand the difference that it made on these kids’ lives. Every choice we make to give back, regardless of how, can have a lasting effect.

When I started to volunteer for Look Good Feel Better, I knew I wanted to leave a lasting impact on the future of this amazing organization. That is why I have been a champion of LGFB for nearly three decades, from attending the very first Mirror Ball, joining the Look Good Feel Better Board, to inspiring my community at Mary Kay to rally around the organization and leave their marks as well. Leaving a legacy gift was a natural, logical next step for me. If I am already supporting the organization through corporate giving as well as my time with the board, why not further my impact by personally leaving financial support?

For this reason, I decided to leave a legacy gift to Look Good Feel Better. When I think of the things that are important to me in life, my faith and supporting women are top of mind. I have included my church as part of my will for many years, I do not know why I did not think about adding Look Good Feel Better before! Being able to support this organization, and therefore the women who are so beautifully impacted by the work, is important to me. So, I gave a call to my lawyer and it was done! The process was so easy and straightforward.

From business to family to volunteering, I believe strongly that we are all leaving a legacy.  And to me, Look Good Feel Better is key in my own personal legacy.  It is in my heart and soul.  We are changing lives for women who are going through the effects of cancer.  We are empowering them with greater information to help them feel like themselves again. We cannot stop supporting the amazing programming that makes sure that more women benefit from its positive impact. For anyone reading this, I encourage you to do something beautiful for a woman facing cancer and consider leaving a legacy gift. If you have been personally touched by the strength or resiliency of this community, there is no better way to show your support by leaving a lasting legacy."
